Launching her career path as a film major in 2006, Kaylee Brown started dabbling with photography and videography shortly after, and has since established more than 15 years of experience in visual communication through globetrotting, and from building her career in the hospitality and beer and wine industry.
Kaylee's passion for mobility and enthusiasm for developing relationships with people from all cultures and walks of life motivated her to travel to 16 different countries and 4 continents. In summer 2014, she spent four months in Accra, Ghana, where she produced a short documentary about the over-usage of chemical pesticides in local agriculture. She also volunteered at an orphanage in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia, May 2011, and photographed families in-need to help generate donations.
As an PNW native, Kaylee enjoys being an active explorer of the great outdoors with her camera by her side. She’s family-oriented, loves people, and has a gift of enabling her subjects and clients to feel vulnerable and comfortable in front of the camera.
She graduated from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication in June 2015 and has formal training in multimedia journalism, photography and graphic design. She currently resides in Tacoma, Washington with her husky, Pearl and services the greater Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan areas, in addition to Portland, Oregon and Central Oregon without additional travel fees.
